New Release

The new release from As The Rocket Fell is now available for download in the music section. The record features the guitars and compositions of Chris Cretella and Lautaro Mantilla and the drums of Dave Parmelee. Open form composition meets metal and trash cans full of broken glass.

Fall Gigs

Have some sick gigs lined up for the fall including performances with Joe Morris’ Lava Bat, the first ever New Haven appearance of Joint Raker, and a stint as a guest composer and guitarist with the Lyric Hall Theatre Orchestra doing live music to the John Barrymore classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Go to the events section for more details.

As The Rocket Fell coming soon

Mixing has begun on the debut record from As The Rocket Fell featuring Chris Cretella and Lautaro Mantilla on guitars and Dave Parmelee on drums. Look for the music in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, here’s a taste of the artwork.

Gutsball

Gutsball, a new duo project with bassist Ian Kovac, makes its debut at Popeye’s Garage in New Haven CT this Sunday, 8/21, at 8:45p. C. Lavender and Silent Isle are on the bill as well…perhaps others. We’ll be playing hits from the newly developed Gutsball songbook. It will be a doozie.

Joint Raker Record Now Available

The debut Joint Raker record, Bowl With One Spoon, is now available for listening and purchasing (or purchasing and listening). Improvised music for guitar and trumpet fueled by beer and bean soup. Find it in the Music section.

Duo Record With Nigel Taylor Almost Complete

Its been a busy few months. A few recordings have been made and one is nearing completion. Look for the debut recording of Joint Raker featuring Nigel Taylor on trumpet and myself on guitar. We set up shop back in January, got in front of some mics, and let her rip. In the course of improvising the afternoon away we got ourselves a record. Sick!

Goose Lane: 100% More Tuba

Found this one on an un-marked disc in the office. These are the tracks that used to be up on the Goose Lane Myspace page (I think a few are still there). Goose Lane with tuba. ‘Nuff said (yeah…I grew up on Marvel comics…so what?!?).

Goose Lane: 100% More Tuba (I learned how to draw by copying Looney Tunes...obvious huh?)

Goose Lane Presents: The Nutcracker

Goose Lane Presents: The Nutcracker is now available as a modern 21st century mp3 album! In this version the Valse-o Demento gets its own track and the late night improvisation Cracked Nuts has been added as a little bonus. Enjoy…or not…
